My Classroom Website

Mrs. Arlene Chabus

Hi. Thanks for visiting my website.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born in Brooklyn, NY and I attended public school in Brooklyn. I graduated from Brooklyn College with a BA degree and an MS degree in Early Childhood Education and a post-graduated degree in Administration and Supervision. I  taught in a Brooklyn elementary school for 16 years.

Upon moving to Florida in 1991,  I attended Florida Atlantic University where I have taken more than 60 doctoral credits. Since 1992 I have taught in Broward county.

I am blessed with a wonderful husband, two marvelous sons, a great daughter-in-law, and an adorable, lovable grandson.

I like to spend time with my family, read, listen to music and play piano, attend plays and concerts, and go to Florida Panthers hockey games. Go, cats, go!

I enjoy working with kindergarten students. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with young children at the beginning of their school career where I can instruct them in acquiring positive habits, learning strategies and a love of learning, that will help them to be successful through the years. I'm proud to be a Ramblewood Ram.
